Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Cuett application and related services (the "Service") operated by the Cuett Operations Team ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Article 1 (Purpose and Nature of the Service)

  1. The Service provides a mechanism that notifies users only when the SNS IDs explicitly designated by two users match exactly.
  2. The Service does not guarantee introductions, matchmaking, recommendations, mediation, or the establishment of any relationship.
  3. The Service does not provide user search or recommendation features.
  4. Before a match is established, users cannot confirm the existence or registration status of another user.

Article 2 (Registration)

  1. Registration for the Service is completed through authentication using external providers such as Google ID or Apple ID.
  2. Individuals under the age of 13 may not use the Service.

  3. We may refuse or delete a registration if we reasonably determine that:

    • The user is likely to violate these Terms;
    • The user has provided false information;
    • The use may involve fraud or misuse.

Article 3 (User Responsibilities)

  1. Users are responsible for managing their authentication credentials.
  2. Users use the Service at their own risk and responsibility.
  3. Users are responsible for ensuring that the SNS IDs they register are accurate.
  4. Users must not use the Service in a manner that infringes the rights of others.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in the following conduct:

  • Impersonation of others
  • Attempts to manipulate or fraudulently trigger a match
  • Actions that impose excessive load on the system
  • Reverse engineering, analysis, or modification of the Service
  • Violations of applicable laws or public policy

Article 5 (Nature of Matching)

  1. A match is established only when both users register the identical SNS ID.
  2. A difference of even one character will prevent a match.
  3. We do not guarantee the establishment or non-establishment of any match.
  4. We are not responsible for any relationship or interaction between users after a match is established.

Article 6 (Paid Features)

  1. The Service may include paid features.
  2. Details of paid features, pricing, and conditions are displayed within the application.
  3. Subscription management and cancellation are handled in accordance with the rules of the respective app stores.
  4. Except as required by law, fees paid are non-refundable.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Cuett Operations Team or legitimate rights holders.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.
  2. We make no warranties regarding continuity, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  3. We shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the Service except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 9 (Modification or Termination of the Service)

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice.

Article 10 (Amendments to These Terms)

We may revise these Terms. Revised Terms become effective when displayed within the Service.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the operator’s place of residence as the court of first instance.
